ABOUT THE ROLE:
Our Loan Operations team serves as the backbone to the organization as we strive to provide the best customer experience in the mortgage industry. We are looking for an exceptionally detail-oriented Post-Closing Specialist to expediently and accurately review closing documents, clear conditions, and ensure the efficient sale of loans. 

As the last line of defense in the process, the mortgage loan Post-Closing Specialist is the final fail-safe in guaranteeing that loans are purchased in a timely manner. The ideal candidate thrives in a high-paced environment and leverages a keen eye for details to review loan documents for compliance, completeness, and accuracy. We are a rapidly growing team, so the most successful Post-Closers are able to adapt to change with a solution-oriented mindset. This rapid growth also means a lot of room for growth in the role!
KEY DUTIES:
  • Review mortgage loan files after closing for compliance, accuracy, and completeness
  • Confirm and verify accuracy of the funding process, closing disclosure, appraisal fee, HDMA screen, etc.
  • Assist with all closing, funding, and post-closing procedures
  • Collaborate with loan experts, analysts, underwriters, and third parties to efficiently acquire information required to clear deficiencies
  • Maintain a high level of expertise on documentation required to satisfy post-closing deficiencies including income and asset statements, appraisals, and disclosures
ABOUT YOU:
  • ~2 years experience in Mortgage Operations, Title, Escrow, or Lending
  • Exceptional detail-orientation
  • Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment
  • Process orientation—ability to consistently follow meticulous protocols
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently
  • Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience required
